Visitor Centers
Whether you are making your very first visit to the University of Wisconsin-Madison or your first visit in several years, we extend a sincere welcome and invite you to make Visitor & Information Programs your home base for information and assistance.
Visitor & Information Programs operates two wonderful facilities to assist visitors and members of the campus community.
Our new facility is the Welcome Center, at 21 N. Park Street (see map), on one of the city’s main corridors to campus. This location provides both walk-in and drive-through service for visitors and tourists, and exists to further enhance the visitor experience. Please stop in on your way to campus!
Located in the historic Red Gym (see map), the Campus Information Center welcomes prospective students and their families, and serves as a valuable resource for students, faculty and staff.
Both the Welcome Center and the Campus Information Center have knowledgeable staff to assist you with locating information or resources. Complimentary campus and community publications also are available. Contact us at 608-263-2400 or askbucky@uwmad.wisc.edu.
